Safety valve

A safety valve is a mechanism for release a gas automatically from a boiler, pressure vessel, or other system when the pressure or temperature exceeds preset limits. The safety valve is also called a temperature and pressure relief valves. It is used on steam boilers during the industrial revolution. Boilers without safety valves are prone to accidental explosion when the operator allowed the pressure to become too high, either deliberately or through incompetence. We have different types of valves.

Pressure safety valve

Generally the safety valve is closed, with fast or slow opening, with adjustable rapid section for initial gas flow. If it is not in working position the spring works on the seat keeping and the gas passage closed. In the first section of the flow, the coil is powered the valve open rapidly, then slowly, with adjustable speed. The power is cut off the valve rapidly shuts. The pressure safety valve is especially for the gas and air blocking and adjusting controls in atmosphere burners, in industrial ovens and in all gas equipment which use gas solenoid valves.
